the vote

November 8, 2024

On Nov. 5, American voters will choose the next president of the United States. In this page, we explain the run-up to the vote with maps and graphs, with a special focus on the industry sectors closest to the candidates.

The data is provided to Lab24 by FinScience, a fintech company of the Datrix Group. The polling data is to be taken with particular caution because according to the American electoral system, the delegate vote at the state level is decisive.

In 2016, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, but not that of the big voters. Therefore, Trump became president.
